This interesting village is nestled in Northwest Arizona, having some very picturesque landscape "the land of far horizons" lives here in Chloride. From the mountain tops behind Chloride (the Cerbat Mountains) on a clear day you can see four states! The un-impeded view is of Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and California. Chloride is situated in Mohave County, (one of the fastest growing counties in Arizona) north of Kingman and south of Boulder City, Nevada, just four miles east of the CannaMex Corridor (US 93) on Mohave County Road 125. Located in the "range and basin province"; there are panoramic views in every direction.
There are roughly 350 sunshine days a year and the vegetation reflects the high desert altitude of 4,009 feet.
Grand Canyon National Park (north and south rims), Grand Canyon West & Grand Canyon West Skywalk (We have the closest motel to the "Sky walk"), Flagstaff, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Laughlin, St. George, Los Angeles and San Diego are all accessible within a matter of hours from Chloride. The closest major airport is Las Vegas though if flying America West, connections are available right into Kingman Airport. Amtrak also stops in Kingman, and Chloride is but 20 some miles from Interstate 40.

"Can I get from Las Vegas to Chloride over Hoover Dam? I understand they are building a bypass around Hoover Dam and traffic is miserable."
You may drive over Hoover Dam (and its very scenic), there may be short delays but it is usually very short. Also RVs are allowed to cross contrary to many rumors we've heard. We think this rumor started as no commercial vehicles are allowed so that became "no RVs".
